I’m a software engineer and founder in Cincinnati. I build web applications, work with AI coding tools, and care about making software easier to use. I’ve worked in payments, logistics, and real estate, and I enjoy helping other developers learn.
01 / AI & engineering
I use coding agents to explore ideas, write code, and review changes. A lot of my work is setting them up with the right context and checking whether the result does what we need.
I give coding agents project instructions, relevant background, and access to the tools they need. I also decide what context to keep between tasks and which actions need approval.

I break a task into smaller parts, choose models for the work, and keep implementation and review separate. I’m experimenting with agents working in parallel and checking how their changes fit together.

I use tests, browser checks, and a separate review to find problems in generated code. I look at where these checks fall short and adjust the process.

I’m still experimenting with these workflows and sharing what I learn with the people I work with.
02 / Working with people
I like teams where people can ask questions and talk through a problem without feeling they should already know the answer. I try to listen, explain my reasoning, and leave room for someone to change my mind.
At Worldpay, I mentored developers and coordinated work with consultants as a UI lead. I enjoyed that part of the role and want to keep doing more of it.
If I don’t understand something, I ask. I’d rather take the time to clear it up than have us build around different assumptions.
I explain why I’m suggesting an approach, including the tradeoffs. Talking it through gives other people a chance to spot something I’ve missed.
I enjoy working through a problem with another developer and sharing what I know. I try to explain the reasoning so they can use it on the next problem, too.

My main areas of experience and the tools I use.
I build web applications, from the interface and application logic to the database and deployment. My experience includes payments, logistics, and real estate software.
I set up coding agents with project context and tools, organize their tasks, and check their output. I also work on how agents keep context and pass work between them.
I design interfaces around the tasks people need to complete, build reusable components, and keep accessibility in mind. I use testing, review, and documentation to make the software easier to maintain.
How I work
I start by understanding the problem, try a small version, and improve it with feedback. These steps often overlap.
I ask how people do the work today and where they get stuck. Then I look at what we could change and what’s worth trying.
